The new General Data Protection Regulation was brought into effect on 25th May 2018.

The new policy explains the essential points concerning the data collected about you, the reasons for which your personal data and your rights are treated in simpler terms. You can more easily view your data and change the settings on the consents you have provided for the different processing purposes. A familiar language to you will always be used to communicate any information relating to your personal data. What types of data do we collect?
The processed data is the only one provided by the customer.
No sensitive data is collected automatically and without the user’s consent.
Once you sign in for the newsletter, some data are required to keep you up to date with news and offers.

If you provide third parties personal data such as those of your family or friends, you need to make sure sure that these individuals have been adequately informed and have consented to their treatment as reported in this statement.

If you are under 16, you cannot provide any personal data, or sign in for the newsletter, and in any case we do not take responsibility for any false declarations provided. If you aree aware of the existence of untruthful declarations, we will proceed with the immediate cancellation of any personal data provided.

The data collected is used, if you have expressly given your consent, in order to inform you about promotional activities that may interest you. In particular, we use them to communicate promotional, commercial and advertising activities on events, initiatives or partnerships via e-mail, social networks.

2. Is the provision of data mandatory?
The provision of personal datas are mandatory only to be able to proceed with the provision of bed and breakfast services offered. Besides the above, it is totally optional for informational and promotional purposes and any refusal to give consent does not have negative consequences on the provision of the service offered.

The data collected as part of the provision of the service or while signing up to the Newsletter cannot be communicated to any third party, however it will remain for the exclusive use of the Aristeo Hotel. Under no circumstances personal data wil be given or sold to third parties.

4. How can you have information about data, modify it, cancel it or have a copy?

4.a) Cancellation of personal data processing

The cancellation will be made in the expected technical times and according to the conservation period explained in the following point 5.

4. b) Exercising of your rights
Any person who uses or has used the services proposed by the Aristeo Hotel can:

-obtain , at any time, information about the existence of their personal data, the origin of the same, the purposes and methods of treatment by the owner and, if present, obtain access to personal data and information referred to Article 15 of the GDPR
– requesting the updating, rectification, integration, deletion, limitation of data processing if one of the conditions set out in article 18 of the GDPR occurs, the transformation into anonymous form or blocking of personal data, processed in violation of the law, including those for which conservation is not necessary in relation to the purposes for which the data was collected and / or subsequently processed
– oppose, in whole or in part, for legitimate reasons, to the processing of data, even if pertinent to the purpose of collection and to the processing of personal data provided for the purposes of commercial information or the sending of advertising material. 5 . How and for how long will your data be stored?
The storage of personal data will be in electronic/computer form and for the time strictly necessary to satisfy the purposes referred in point 1, in respect of your privacy and current regulations. For marketing / promotion purposes we keep your data for a maximum period by applicable legislation (respectively 24 and 12 months). In the case of exercising the oblivion right through the express cancellation request of personal data processed by the owner, we remind you that such data will be stored, in a protected form and with limited access, solely for the purpose of ascertaining and suppressing crimes, for a period of time not exceeding 12 months from the request and subsequently they will be safely deleted or irreversibly anonymised.

6. How do we ensure the protection of your data?
The data is collected as indicated in point 3, according to the indications of the relevant legislation, with particular regard to the security measures provided by the GDPR (Article 32) for their treatment using computerized, manual and automated tools and logics, strictly related to the purposes indicated in paragraph 1 and in any case to guarantee security and confidentiality of the data.

7. Can privacy policy be modified over time?
The current policy may be subject to change. The owner will warn the user of any substantial changed data , to the consumer from the former , by publishing on their own pages through alternative or similar ways in a high visible manner.
